Dennis M. De Pace, PhD

Course Director of IFM Gross Anatomy and Coordinator of PIL Block 1

Dr. DePace received his BA in Biology from the University of Buffalo in 1968 and his PhD from the University of Buffalo, Department of Anatomy in 1974.  His thesis research focused on the innervation of the bone marrow and the role of the autonomic nervous system in the control of hematopoetic tissues.  Now a full time educator, he is the course director for the Medical Gross Anatomy course in the IFM curriculum and the coordinator of Block 1 (the anatomy block) for the PIL curriculum. In addition, he directs the Senior Anatomy Elective.
