Microanatomy and Cell Biology:
You will need a text and an atlas. At least one member of a laboratory group should bring a copy of each to laboratory review sessions. We recommend the following:
- Ross & Pawlina, Histology: A Text & Atlas. 6th edition. 2011. Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins.
- Young, B, Lowe, JS, Stevens, A, Heath, JW, Wheater's Functional Histology, A Text and Color Atlas, 5th ed., Churchill Livingstone, 2006.
You may find it helpful to refer to some additional resources for the cell biology portion of the course. Recommended texts for Cell Biology include:
- Goodman, S.R. Medical Cell Biology. 3rd Edition, 2007. Elsevier.
- Alberts, Johnson, Lewis, Raff, Roberts & Walter. Molecular Biology of the Cell. 5th edition. 2008. Garland Science.
